Construction commences for The Liberty House

New Dubai Law welcomed by Property Investors
The law is of substantial nature and said to be followed by a number of new procedural bylaws that will identify the freehold areas the non-nationals could own, determine the registration fees and related procedures. The law has appointed Dubai Lands and Properties Department as a regulatory authority for all properties in the Emirate.
Once the procedurals are set in place, the law will bring the needed stability to real estate industry and help in its organized growth. The legalization of the private property ownership rights will be an enormous boost to trust and credibility of Dubai as an investment destination.
The new property law is a welcome delight and marks the dawn of a new era to the thriving Dubai property Market. It is a boon to international buyers considering property purchases in Dubai as a safe and viable investment.

ETA Technopark @ Chennai
The ETA Technopark Project (ETA @ T) is a project with Vision that addresses the IT infrastructure requirements of the country. The project envisages the creation of an IT SEZ (under the scheme of Government of India) in Chennai (on Old Mahabalipuram Road about 20 kms from Chennai) on a campus of 26.36 acres with a builtin area of about 4.16 Million Sq ft. The project has been granted the SEZ clearance making it one of the first few of its kind in Tamil Nadu. All other necessary approvals and clearances from various regulating authorities have been obtained enabling the project to go full steam.
The Project is planned in a totally different style (different from the normal IT concrete jungles - as seen in the cover of this project report) with state-of- the-art construction technology and planning conducive to international clients.
The Project would create readily occupiable buildings with completely finished common and service infrastructure and shell for interiors to be done by the clients. The revenue model is through the collection of rents for the area let out.
The design of the Technopark with greenery and twin towers and two blocks is expected to change the skyline of Chennai and also the concept of IT parks. With elaborate car parks and open surroundings the project would be unique.

ETA Star to invest Rs. 13,500 crore in Chennai
ETA Star plans to invest over Rs. 13,500 crore in Chennai and its surrounding areas for developing property.
The company will establish an integrated township on 1,200 acres at Sriperumbudur with an outlay of Rs. 12,000 crore and five new projects with an investment of Rs. 1,350 crore.
Addressing a press conference here on Thursday, P. H. M. Syed Ismail, Managing Director of the company, said Chennai and its surrounding areas were buzzing with activity. He said after its successful launch of its Bangalore properties `Binny Crescent’ and `The Garden’ had now entered Chennai.
Mr. Ismail said ETA Star had already acquired 250 acres at Sriperumbudur. The integrated township would have a built-up area of five-crore sq. ft.
ETA Star would create a separate special purpose vehicle for the project in which it would hold 59.9 per cent, a foreign partner 40 per cent with TIDCO 0.1 per cent. ETA Star was talking to a few companies in the U.S. and Europe.
Mr. Ismail said the gestation period for the project was six to seven years from 2008 onwards. He said the Sriperumbudur project would be operated on the basis of FDI (foreign direct investment) norms.

ETA Star presents first Star Awards to partners
ETA Star, recently on (Thursday, February 22, 2007), presented its first ‘Star Awards’ to acknowledge the contribution of its partners at a glittering awards function held at the Marriott Courtyard Hotel in Dubai.
The Star Awards were presented in three categories – Marketing Partners, Sales Partners and Banking, Finance and Legal Partners.

Another milestone for 23 Marina
Hircon International LLC, a joint venture between the leading Hiranandani group and ETA Star properties, have received the much awaited building permit for their iconic tower 23 Marina coming up at Dubai Marina. ETA Star opens Display Centre for ?The Palladium?
ETA Star has opened a Display Centre at its Hamarain Office for ?The Palladium? apartments. The Display Centre is exhibiting samples of interior finishes and fittings for home owner?s review and confirmation.
The Display Centre is open from 18th January ? 7th February 2006 Saturday through Wednesday (3pm -7pm) and on Thursdays (9am- 1pm). The facility could be inspected by the Palladium apartment owners with prior appointment.
The response to the Display Centre has been encouraging and the visitors have expressed sheer delight in the efforts taken to exhibit sample interiors and for giving the home owner a choice on the fittings and fixtures for the homes. ETA STAR Commences Construction at Palm Crescent
ETA Star commenced the construction on the Taj Exotica & Spa and the Grandeur Residences with the ground-breaking ceremony on 18th March at the Jumeirah Palm Crescent site. The Resort & Spa project was launched in partnership with the world renowned Taj Group of Hotels.
Mr. Ratan N. Tata, Chairman of Taj Group signaled the commencement of piling operations at project site. Star Metro Deira maintains 'Deluxe' status
Star Metro Deira, the luxury hotel apartments from StarHospitality, located on Salahuddin Road, Deira, has successfully maintained the 'Deluxe' classification for second year running. The Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), Dubai provided the classification status to Star Metro Deira, after it concluded its annual inspection of the property recently.
